Dear Summer,

Hey there, rebels! Can you feel the summer vibes? Even though we've had a little somewhat chilly and rainy spell down here in the south, it seems like we're finally heading in the right direction. I'm ready to crank up some Jilly from Philly, open the sunroof, and let that sunshine hit my face. Good times!


But let's be real, even summer mornings can be a struggle. Waking up and conquering the day isn't always easy, especially when you hit that snooze button a few too many times. So, my babes, I've got some game-changing tips to upgrade your morning routine and make you the boss of your day:


1. Dance it out: Mornings don't have to be all snooze buttons and yawns! Blast your favorite tracks as soon as you wake up and let your body move to the rhythm. Have a mini dance party while you brush your teeth or make your coffee. Not only will it get your body moving + give your brain a really good workout, relieve anxiety and help your start your day with a dose of joy and positive vibes!

2. Mindful moments: I know this can feel tricky, especially if you're already multi-tasking as soon as you wake, so it might not be the first thing you do, but aim to take a few minutes each morning to practice mindfulness and set your intentions for the day. This can be prayer time or meditation or both. Ideally, you would want to close your eyes, and focus on your breathing. Visualize how you want your day to unfold and the positive outcomes you're aiming for. It's like creating your own personal mantra or mini-vision board for a successful day. Feel empowered and ready to slay all day!

3. Rebel fuel: Upgrade your morning beverage routine with a rebel twist!

Instead of your usual coffee or tea, try concocting a rebellious elixir. One of my favorite things to add to my coffee in the morning is C8 MCT oil and collagen. It's giving you a warm and yummy kick-start that's great for your skin, brain and fires up your metabolism. Who needs boring old coffee when you can have a rebel potion? 4. Gratitude practice: IYKYK, I stay on this one. Starting our day heavy on gratitude before diving into daily tasks is a game changer. Take a moment to write down, just three things you're thankful for. It doesn't have to be complicated, it can be as simple as a good night's sleep, an amazing friend circle, or the ability to move your gorgeous body. Incorporating an attitude of gratitude sets a positive vibe for the day ahead and helps us focus on the things that bring us joy. 5. Morning affirmations: Boost your confidence and set the stage for a successful day with empowering affirmations. Create a list of affirmations that resonate with your rebellious spirit. Repeat them aloud or silently to yourself as you go about your morning routine. Whether it's "I am a fierce trailblazer" or "I attract abundance and opportunities," these positive affirmations will uplift your mindset and attract positive energy into your life.


Only recently have I become more of a morning person and building some of these rituals into my day have really helped me embrace the power of mornings and helped me get my days off to an amazing start and feel powered up and on point for the day!
